A prayer for when life seems to steal your joy away from you.

Oh Lord, when I start to wonder “Well what happens if…” be quick to remind me that even so, You are enough.

When I start to worry, about what happens if the blessings of life leave, let me say, and even so, God You are enough. Teach me, grow me through it all, and use it all to continue to build me into the woman of God you have called me to become.

You give Father and you take away, my heart will choose to say, Lord blessed be Your Name! Help me bless You when I’m sad and praise You when I do not understand. You were enough then and You will be enough now! Lord let my heart not want things you do not want me to have.

Lord, I do not want to be distracted, allow me to see any distractions in my life. I long to walk in full obedience to You God, show me any areas of my life that do not glorify You. I pray that You would remove anything in my life that is hindering my relationship with You God.

God, whatever happens, You are enough always.
